On 13 November 2019 we are at the conference How do Environments Become Smart? The Next Stage of Internet of Things twelfth edition of "Computer Science research meets Business" where we explore new developments in Internet of Things from both academic and industrial perspectives.

On 15-16 November 2019 we will be speaking at the South Tyrol Free Software Conference, SFScon, one of the leading annual Free Software conferences promoting the use of Free Software in IT infrastructures to boost innovation and competitiveness. We will present the South Tyrol Beacon Mobile Guide, an application developed in the South Tyrol beacon project of the Province of Bolzano and NOI Techpark. Using beacons we can provide tourists with contextual information and personalised recommendations on points of interest and activities in South Tyrol.
